Amen to all that. I often think that I got more writing done when I taught school full-time. But that was when social media was nonexistent. Life is busier and crazier today than in pre-Internet times. I find it harder to focus and keep my butt in the chair. I enjoy writing the last chapter of my books; it goes quickly. I’m ready to be done with it, so I can move on to the next one. However, spending time with your dog is priceless.

Retirement and time management are not for sissies. Nor are the present world distractions. Throwing the ball sounds like a good plan and your dog will be happy.

She was very happy, but doesn’t understand that we have to WAIT.
